The Building Vibrant Youth Action Team works to empower northern Saskatchewan communities to respectfully engage, mentor and build relationships with their youth.
“Strong relationships will empower youth to overcome challenges and make healthier choices”
As adults we can all be better allies to our youth through education, engagement, empowerment and mentorship. This year the team has decided to host a 1.5 day Adult Ally Training workshop to do just that - help teach adults to be the best ally’s they can be! The workshop takes place in Prince Albert on October 26-27th and is open to both those who live in NITHA communities and within the Northern Administrative District. At this 1.5 day workshop we will be hosting two presenters: Leroy Laliberte founder of B.U.R.N Youth, as well as Janna Bernatsky with OutSaskatoon. The training will also be offered virtually. Registration is free and lunch is provided on October 26. Registration can be completed via email (nhcp@saskhealthauthority.ca) or email 306-425-8520. If you are only able to attend 1 of the days please specify this in the email.
