Northern Saskatchewan Tobacco Reduction Initiative

The Northern Saskatchewan Population Health Unit is leading a tobacco reduction initiative which was made possible through funding from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health. The Northern Tobacco Strategy has been acting as a steering committee for this project for the last year and will continue the work once the funded project is finished.

The Northern Saskatchewan Tobacco Reduction Initiative is a  targeted one year initiative which aims to reduce tobacco use and exposure for youth, young pregnant women  and their circles of influence within the three Saskatchewan northern health authorities (Athabasca Health Authority, Keewatin Yatthe and Mamawetan Churchill River Health Regions).
